Dear Diarrhea

We had a very interesting week as 11 of our team had diarrhea at some point this week. It was a very uniting experiance and now we have a lot of diarrhea jokes!! Thank God we are now almost all healthy again. This week we continued with the ministries we shared about last week, as well as some new ministries such as going to an orphanage, women's ministry at the slums and street evangelism with a local youth group. We want to share a couple of testimonies from this week...

Praying with teenagers during English class

The principal of the primary school where we are teaching English lessons is very open to us sharing the gospel with the students. We could share the gospel with about 200 children last week in the English class. With a big part of the teenagers we were able to pray with them to receive Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Dance and Drama Street Evangelising on the Crosswalks

The youth group at a local church
Last Saterday we went to a youth group in a local church to do a teenage program. The youth were really enthusiastic about learning to dance and do drama. It was a great time teaching them the dance, drama and balloning, but since they were so enthusiastic about it their youth leader wanted to go out on the streets and use what they learned.

This Saterday we did really creative street evangelism with them. We went in teams to the crosswalk and while the light was red and the cars waited we preformed the dance and drama and handed out flyers and ballons. It was really awsome and for most of the teens it was the first time evangelising. We had a few good talks with people passing by, but mostly this time was to get the youth to be more enthusiastic about evangelism. We had a really good connection with the teenagers and in the end they seemed to be really excited about doing street evangelism in the future.

  1. Wooow guys, this is so encouraging to read! Such a great opportunity to share the gospel freely with all those english pupils and especially this creative evangelism is interesting to read about. Keep on conquering the diarrhea and conquering the world for Jesus :-)
